I can't get .tap to run on Vice, it tucks at tape position 6

It uses fastloader which starts after tape position 6.
I tested it on VICE 3.8 and it worked ok.
Select PET 8296, 8096 or PET 8032  model.

Thank you!

Very cool! Since MiSTer's PET core doesn't support 80 columns, I made a gameplay with my BMPET (VICE emulator for the Raspberry Pi).

..but you rescued only one princess? :D

It's not that easy to save two or even more. Just like in real life: one princess for life is enough for me. :D

This actually dumps right to the machine monitor after about 60% of the title screen is printed on my MiniPET 40/80

Hi,

I don't have a real machine but Tynemouth Software tested it on real MiniPET before release.

Did you use 80 column mode?

Works fine on my MiniPET 40/80. Make sure to set it to 80-column. Also do a system-check (SYS 40960) to see if everything is working fine. Also I'm using ROM 4.1 (all DIP-switches down), not that it should matter much.

Purchased. This will sure look nice on my Mini PET 40/80. I see it supports joystick,
does it also support the SNES-controller-adapter used by "Attack of the PETSCII Robots" by the 8-Bit-Guy? If not, maybe something for V1.2 ;-) Source-code for supporting the SNES-adapter can be found here:

https://sourceforge.net/p/vice-emu/code/HEAD/tree/testprogs/userportsnes/snestes...

Anyways, thanks for providing a killer app for the PET!

Thanks!

Must check that SNES controller example
